Treated Like Royalty with a Caribbean Yacht Charter
Caribbean yacht charters are a great way to have a luxury vacation in style, being pampered the entire way, making choices in location, how long to stay in different places, what type of food to eat and when to eat, and much more. These yacht charters and motor yacht charters maneuver through the waters all around the world allowing individuals to see whatever parts of the world they desire up close and personal. There are many different things to do during a yacht charter, such as water sports, visiting different ports and coves, scuba diving, snorkeling, and shopping.
Caribbean
Caribbean yacht charters are some of the most popular charters because of the weather and the exotic location. There are three basic areas where the yachts are chartered in the Caribbean. The Virgin Islands are in the northern part of the Caribbean and will usually also hit Puerto Rico and St. Croix during the trip if the passengers so desire. The Leeward Islands are still to the north part of the Caribbean but move toward the south and include such places as St. Bart's, Antigua, Dominica and St. Martin. To the south, there are the Windward Islands which include such places as Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Lucia and Barbados.
On a Caribbean yacht charter the clients choose what islands the cruise hits during the course of the week or weeks that the boat is chartered for. Passengers sit with the captain to plan the trip and the captain will recommend the best course for the trip. With a Caribbean yacht charter, the plans can change at any time, such as if a particular island is enjoyed so immensely by the clients they want to stay another day on it, then the captain can change plans and they can stay another day. Most of the yachts carry at least the basic snorkeling gear as well as some other water toys like mats and knee boards for some water fun. Other yachts will have scuba gear as well and often offer lessons for those who do not know how to do it.
Caribbean yacht charters also offer choices in the types of food eaten on the trip, with a chef that is usually available to make each dish to taste. The drinks can also be planned beforehand, but the cost of such are usually not included in the price of the charter itself. Any excursions on the islands are also not usually included, so individuals need to plan ahead for these extra costs.
